
MILWAUKEE, WIS. (JULY 23, 2025) — Lesaffre is proud to announce the addition of Jill Stang as our new Vice President of Sales and Business Development.
“Jill will lead our commercial teams and our continued success with our baking customers and partners. We are thrilled to have her as part of our leadership team,” said Tom Benner, President and CEO for Lesaffre Corp./Red Star Yeast Company.
Jill has assumed her responsibilities from Dean Modglin who will retire at the end of 2025 after 23 years with Lesaffre and Red Star. “Dean is an icon in the baking industry. Our customers and our company owe a lot to Dean; his legacy in this industry will be enormous,” Benner said.
Jill comes to Lesaffre from IFF, where she progressed through several sales leadership roles and was most recently Director of Sales – Bakery, Bars, Cereal and Confectionery. Prior to IFF, she worked for TerraVia and Udi’s Gluten Free. She holds a BS degree in Bakery Science from Kansas State University.
