Career Pathways for Students

With nearly half of our existing working population due to retire, ensuring there is a pipeline of talent for the food and beverage industry is more important than ever. Additionally, talent is required if we are to double our food production by the year 2050 to feed a global population of 9.7 billion.

Inspire the next generation of talent into the career-making possibilities of our food and beverage industry with these resources.

Since 2014, over 2,500 high school students have met with an impressive collection of exhibitors, including ingredients, consumer product and packaging makers, grocery retail, and professional service firms focused on the industry at our annual Farm-Factory-Fork (FFF) Career Discovery events.

Our quarterly e-newsletters, sent to teachers and counselors of over 125 state high schools and colleges, feature interactive classroom activities, industry insights, profiles of young industry professionals and their companies, and career pathways and employment opportunities.

Providing a basis of good manufacturing practices (GMPS), hazard analysis, and regulatory, this course is perfect for high school and college students considering or currently pursuing a career in food, beverage, or ingredients manufacturing.
